We are excited to be watching some birds eggs. A "killdeer" made a nest in our driveway. Yesterday there were only 2 eggs, but when I went out this morning, there were 3! Did you know that the killdeer will pretend to have an injured wing and try to get you to follow it away from its nest? It is pretty cool! (Thankfully the nest is to the side of the driveway where we can go around it...though I had someone drive in today and I was nervous about the eggs!)
