A Prodigal Child

Guess I have not updated in awhile! Oops! :) Well, here are a few points of interest....

We loved the snow we had in December and we were sad to see it go.
On Christmas Eve we spent the day with my family. Well, my parents anyway. This was also the first Christmas where we were the only ones there.
Enjoyed a quiet Christmas. It was the first time we stayed home all day on Christmas day and it was actually quite fun. (I think we stayed in our jammies till about 3pm!)
We went to play up at Snow Peak a few days later...but didn't take any pictures because the snow was so wet I was worried about the camera. :(
We celebrated New Years at a friends house where Emily got sick from being up too late!
The second weekend of January I went with my mom and sisters on a girls "retreat" which was lots of fun as always.
Youth group is going well at Church. At times we feel like the kids are just there to "hang out" which is ok...but we want to instill some sort of spiritual thought into their brains. We'll see. If we can figure out how to get them to stop texting that would be great! (We don't want to be "strict school like teachers" but boy is it annoying, not to mention RUDE! :)
We are enjoying the rest of January and keep plugging away at school and bills and life. Maybe someday we'll be ahead of the pack!
I am taking Jan-Mar off...picture wise. Though I did two sessions last weekend. I plan to do very little and try to learn lots. I have been going through a book that is part of an online study group. So hopefully I can brush up on some skills. I am still planning to do some sessions for people I know and really maybe anyone else who wants to, I am just not pushing any sort of advertising right now.
