I am a Prodigal Child!

I read this verse last night and it made me really excited. It is the first thing I thought of this morning and helped me to get out of bed!

Psalm 90:14 Surprise us with love at daybreak;

then we'll skip and dance all the day long.

Shouldn't we wake up EVERY morning remembering how much God loves us? I am the one that Jesus loves! His love is extravagent! When I was a stuck in a life of sin, He watched for me to come. He didn't just accidently look up when I was on the horizon..He had been waiting and watching for me. Then...He RAN to me...when I was still a sinner. Before I spoke my prepared speech to ask for forgiveness He embraced me in His arms and said, "My child is home! Everyone....celebrate!"
I never felt like I had a "prodigal moment" but the truth is, I have spent my life, living as a prodigal daughter. I choose to walk away from all the riches, love and provision that I need, to do my own thing. God is waiting with His arms outstreched to take me, AND YOU! into His arms and throw a celebration!
